Bluetooth walkie talkies combine the convenience of traditional two-way radios with the flexibility of wireless Bluetooth technology. These devices are designed for users who need reliable communication while also benefiting from hands-free functionality, making them ideal for various applications. Next, we’ll explore the purpose and uses of Bluetooth walkie talkies, as well as provide a step-by-step guide on how to use them effectively.
What is a Bluetooth Walkie Talkie?
A Bluetooth walkie talkie is a two-way radio that uses Bluetooth technology to connect to accessories, including Bluetooth headsets, earpieces, or even external microphones. This allows users to communicate without having to physically hold the device and press PTT key, offering a more comfortable and efficient experience.
The Bluetooth connection enables wireless communication to streamline and enhance communication in environments like construction sites, warehouses, or outdoor activities when people’s hands are not available for using walkie talkies.
Benefits and Uses of Bluetooth Walkie Talkies
Bluetooth walkie talkies are ideal for a variety of settings where clear communication is essential. Here are some of the key benefits and applications:
Hands-Free Communication: Bluetooth walkie talkies enable users to communicate hands-free, which is particularly beneficial in environments where manual tasks are involved. For example, workers in a warehouse or field staff can use Bluetooth headsets to communicate while performing their tasks without holding a radio.
Increased Comfort: The wireless nature of Bluetooth walkie talkies makes them more comfortable to use. Since there’s no need to hold the device at all times, users can communicate while keeping their hands free for other tasks.
Safety: For those working in dangerous environments, such as construction sites, security personnel, or emergency responders, Bluetooth walkie talkies provide a safer way to stay connected without holding a device while operating machinery or navigating potentially dangerous areas.
How to Use a Bluetooth Walkie Talkie
It’s not difficult to use a Bluetooth walkie-talkie and connect Bluetooth accessories—just the same as using a Bluetooth earphone to connect your smartphone. As we also launched some Bluetooth walkie talkies, we will give you a guideline for using Chierda Bluetooth walkie talkies.
A Bluetooth walkie-talkie is the same as a regular walkie-talkie when the Bluetooth connection is off. In other words, how do you know that the walkie talkie is in a Bluetooth connection? Let’s take CD101F Plus as an example.
How to check the Bluetooth connection status?
- Turn on CD101F, and press and hold the PF1 button for 2 seconds. When you hear a Beep sound, the Bluetooth function is on, and the indicator light flashes quickly. Press and hold PF1 for 2 seconds and hear the Beep sound twice, the Bluetooth function is off, and the indicator light also goes out.
- The status of the two way radio indicator light: the white light flashes once every 5 seconds in the connection state, and the white light flashes 2 times every 5 seconds in the disconnected state.
How do you pair CD101F walkie talkie with EB121 Bluetooth headset?
Please note that when CD101F Plus the whole set leaves the factory, the walkie-talkie and the Bluetooth headset have been paired by default. That means you only need to turn on the walkie talkie, and the Bluetooth headset will automatically connect after it is turned on.
If you have other Bluetooth headsets needed to connect with this radio, you can follow these steps:
Step 1: When CD101F walkie talkie is powered off, press and hold the PTT key + PF2 key at the same time, then turn the volume knob to turn it on. The indicator light in green flashes 3 times quickly and you hear “beep” 3 times. When the light turns white and flashes quickly, you can release the button. After this process, the walkie talkie enters the pairing mode.
Step 2: When EB121 Bluetooth headset is powered off, press and hold the on/off button for 5 seconds, the red and blue lights will flash alternately. The bluetooth headset enters the pairing mode.
Step 3: Only when both walkie-talkie and Bluetooth headset are in pairing mode can they be paired and connected. When the pairing is successful, the white light of the walkie-talkie will flash once every 5 seconds, and the blue light of the Bluetooth headset will flash once every 5 seconds.
If you have CD108F Plus or CDA8 Plus and want do Bluetooth connection, you can also follow these processes. The trick is to keep the devices in pairing mode.
